Terms of sale

These terms cover tags bought on the DEPARTMNT shop. They sit alongside our delivery and returns and cancellations policies.

Prices and VAT

Prices on the shop are per tag, from the published price list. No VAT is charged. Delivery is added at checkout and shown before you pay. The price per tag depends on the quantity you order, and the shop shows the break you are in.

Online orders go up to 20,000 of one tag. Above that we quote.

Your order

Checkout is hosted by Shopify, which takes your payment. Your order is accepted when we email to confirm it. If we cannot supply what you ordered, we tell you and refund you in full.

Standard and Custom

Standard tags are supplied off the shelf, programmed and ready to point at a Portal.

Custom tags are printed in your artwork. We confirm the artwork with you and send a proof, and production starts only when you approve it. You are responsible for having the right to use the artwork you send us.

If something is wrong

If a tag arrives faulty or not as described, tell us and we will replace or refund it. This does not affect your legal rights.

Our liability to a business customer is limited to the price paid for the order concerned. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
